Trying to understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing for the first time can be difficult, especially for the non-technical student. The GDT-100 set provides simulated products, fixtures, gages, and tools that clearly illustrate the key concepts of ANSI standard Y14.5. The kit includes fifteen solid hardwood pieces, a book of ten drawings, and a suggested lesson plan. The models interact with one another to illustrate the concepts of roundness versus cylindricity, profile of a line or surface, and composite positional tolerancing. A handy carrying case is also available and highly recommended for the traveling instructor. Additional lesson books are also available.
